Definitions and interpretation
The word ‘services’ refer to all services provided by New Life Genetics and includes DNA tests for the purposes of this Terms and Conditions document.
Acceptance of terms and conditions
You will be asked to accept these Terms and Conditions by clicking “accept Terms and Conditions” before submitting your order on the confirmation page.
By purchasing, and/or using any of our services you agree to the Terms and Conditions specified below;
These Terms and conditions apply to any use of our services, including, but not limited to:
- Submitting a saliva sample for DNA extraction and processing;
- Uploading a digital version of your genetic information, and interacting with it on our website.
New Life Genetics will not provide DNA testing services to anyone under the age of eighteen (18) years at the time of the sample being taken, unless permission is expressly given by their legal guardian by consenting to these terms and conditions on their behalf. Those under the age of eighteen (18) years are not eligible to accept these Terms and Conditions or enter into a legally binding contract with New Life Genetics themselves or on behalf of any other person.
Additionally, New Life Genetics will not provide services to you if:
- You are not of legal age to form a binding contract with New Life Genetics under the laws of the country in which you reside; or
- You are restricted from receiving genetic testing services under the laws of the country in which you reside, or in the country from which you wish to use these services.
By placing an order with New Life Genetics, you are agreeing to pay the total cost for all services contained within that order, within the timeframes specified by New Life Genetics.
Our process allows you to check your order details and amend any errors before submitting your order to us. Please take the time to read your order, ensuring all information provided is correct.
All orders are subject to vetting by New Life Genetics, who reserve the right to reject any order on the basis of incomplete, or incorrect information, or a suspected breach of these Terms and Conditions. An email will be sent to the purchaser to confirm acceptance; this will confirm the sale agreement between New Life Genetics and the purchaser.
New Life Genetics will not take payment from the purchaser’s account until their order has been accepted, and the DNA test kit(s) has been shipped out.
All prices listed on our website include individual VAT for the European Union. For countries outside the European Union, the prices will be shown VAT free. Customers in these countries will be responsible for the individual countries import rules.
For European Union VAT registered companies, it is possible to purchase without VAT. The VAT number validation will be handled in checkout. It is important that the address associated with the VAT number and the shipping address matches. It is possible to pre-check at this official link EU VAT number validation
DNA test kits will be dispatched, by post, within 24 hours of payment being received (on normal working days). Payment will only be taken once your order had been approved by New Life Genetics, and the DNA test kit(s) has been shipped out.
Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- 3 – 4 days for deliveries in Europe
- 4 – 10 days for deliveries outside of Europe
Orders will be dispatched to the delivery address stated in your order. We can also deliver to offices or business addresses, upon request.
Upon receiving your DNA test kit, you will have 60 days to perform and return the DNA samples. A prepaid, return envelope will be included with your delivery.
DNA test reports will, under normal circumstances, be available within 14 to 25 days from the date our laboratory receives the DNA sample. You will be notified by email when the report is ready to download or read online.
Description of the services
DNA tests include personal genotyping services, from the collection and analysis of your saliva sample.
New Life Genetics does not provide specific medical advice to its customers. This is an information-only service, intended to help customers gain a better understanding of the health risks associated with their genotype.
Our service does not include specific medical diagnosis or advice regarding your personal health and is not intended as a substitute for seeking professional medical diagnosis, treatment or advice, from a suitably qualified medical practitioner.
New Life Genetics urges anyone with health concerns to discuss these with their General Practitioner, or other suitably qualified healthcare practitioner
DNA test reports are provided using genetic research and technologies available at the time of the testing, which may be subject to change over time as scientific advances are made.
New Life Genetics assumes no responsibility for the use of services outside the terms stated in this document or other applicable terms.
Payment will be taken once the order has been approved by New Life Genetic, using the payment method specified by the customer at the time the order was placed.
The cost of the service includes standard delivery costs for the delivery of the DNA testing kit, and for the return postage of the DNA sample.
In some countries, we offer both standard and express delivery, these options, and associated charges are displayed on the relevant order pages of our website.
New Life Genetics accept payment through the methods listed on our website. No payment fees will be charged on orders made online at www.newlifegenetics.com.
By submitting an order through our website, you are confirming that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct and that you authorise New Life Genetics to take the sum specified as your order total.
Tracking Your Order
The purchaser will receive an email once the order has been shipped. This email will include a tracking number, information on how to track your parcel, and an estimated delivery date.
Please note that we only deliver DNA sample kits to addresses in selected countries, which are listed on our website: Shipping locations
We will make every reasonable effort to ensure your DNA testing kit and test results are delivered within the estimated timescales, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the possibility of unforeseen circumstances. Please contact us if your delivery has not arrived within the expected timeframe.
Upon making your genetic report available to you, your order will be considered as completed.
Returning Your swab test to our lab
The test kit includes a prepaid return envelope. This return envelope needs to be used for returning the Swab test tubes.
It is very important that the procedure for returning the swab tests is strictly followed.
The envelope containing the swab tubes have to be dropped into any domestic mailbox (Official). It’s preferable to use a mailbox located at a local post office.
Our return service is an international agreement that we cannot expect any local post offices know about in details. For what, contact to any employee often courses unneeded misunderstandings.
Estimated return freight time is 4 to 20 days depending on the dispatching country. The purchaser will receive an email once the swab has arrived at our lab, ready for testing.
There will not be provided with any tracking information on the return envelope.
In the very rare case that the test has exceeded the timeline for extracting useful DNA material, we will replace and forward a new test kit for performing a new test.
Our Cancellation and Refund Policy
We offer a full refund on any order cancelled within 30 days of receiving your order confirmation.
Customers will not be required to return the DNA test kit, as they cannot be re-used after dispatch.

Emails regarding cancellations must contain the following information in order to be processed:
- The customers full name.
- The customer’s current contact information.
- The order number.
- The email address, given at the time of the order.
Any refunds provided under this policy will be issued to the same payment method used for the purchase and will be processed within seven (7) working days of confirmation by our Customer Services team.
- DNA samples sent to our laboratory will not be refunded.
- DNA samples registered in our system by the customer will not be refunded.
Register test key/account creation
Upon receiving any of our DNA test kits, you will need to register the unique product key and create a password-protected account to access the DNA report.
This account can be created with an alias as we do not require your personal information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account.
Please ensure that you log out of your account at the end of each session.
In any case of unauthorised use of your password or account, or any other breach of security, you must immediately notify New Life Genetics.

Export control and applicable laws and regulations
By ordering and participating in our services, you agree to comply with all legislation and regulations regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
In addition, you agree that, so far as you are aware:
- Providing your sample is not subject to any export ban or restrictions in your country of residence; and
- Your sample and data may be transferred and/or processed outside of your country of residence.
You should not use our service if in doing so you will breach any applicable laws.
Should you share your DNA test results with any other third party, whether intentionally or inadvertently, you agree to release New Life Genetics, including its employees, contractors, or successors from all liability, and may not make any claims arising from such disclosure, or use of your genetic and/or self-reported information.
Important issues regarding New Life Genetics’ services
Our services are for informational purposes only and will not diagnose, prevent, or treat any medical condition or disease, nor will they indicate the state of your health.
The genetic reports provided by New Life Genetics as a result of our services, are neither comprehensive nor absolute, and may not be applicable to individual circumstances. Please be aware of the following when accessing our DNA testing services:
- Scientific understanding and technologies change over time, and therefore the information provided by New Life Genetics may become inaccurate or outdated at any time.
- Information contained in your genetic report may be surprising or upsetting. You may learn information about yourself that you did not anticipate which could potentially alter your life and worldview. These outcomes could have social, legal or economic implications.
- If your data indicates that you are not at elevated genetic risk for a particular disease or condition, you should not feel that you are protected. Likewise, if your data indicates you are at an elevated genetic risk for a particular disease or condition, it does not mean you will develop the disease or condition. In either case, if you have concerns or questions you should discuss these with a suitably qualified medical practitioner.
- If the laboratory is unable to process your sample because your saliva does not contain a sufficient volume of DNA, or the results from processing do not meet our standards for accuracy, the sample will be tested again, free of charge. If the second attempt to process the same sample fails, we will offer to send another kit to collect a second sample, at no charge. If you decline this option, the purchaser is entitled to a refund, less shipping and handling. If you opt to receive another sample collection kit and our attempts to process the second sample are unsuccessful, the purchaser will be entitled to a full refund.
New Life Genetics does not recommend sharing your genetic information with any individual or company.
New Life Genetics neither endorses, recommends, nor guarantees the effectiveness of any:
- Specific course of action,
- Physician or health care provider,
- Medication or supplement,
- Medical device or product,
- Operation, procedure or treatment,
- Opinion, advice or other information that may be connected to, or mentioned on our website or available through our service.
All images and text on newlifegenetics.com is subject to protection under copyright law and may not be used contrary to this. A breach of this would require an injunction as well as claims for compensation, remuneration and expenses. Furthermore, we reserve our rights under other applicable intellectual property laws, including the Marketing Act.

In the unlikely event that we cannot resolve a dispute informally, we will resolve the dispute using mediation or arbitration. Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive (emergency) relief, or other equitable relief from the courts for matters relating to data security, intellectual property, or any other proprietary rights.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Denmark, any dispute that goes to court will be heard in the courts of Denmark.
You may not transfer any rights or obligations under these terms and conditions. Any transfer will be ineffective.
Information on redress
If you have a complaint about our services that cannot be settled mutually, it may be submitted to the Competition and Consumer Authority’s Center for Complaint Resolution, Carl Jacobsen Vej 35 2500 Valby. You can also contact the Center for Complaint Resolution at www.forbrug.dk.
